I must admit, I have not been very crafty this week. Too many other things happening. However, I did bake some patty cakes earlier in the week for a new friend who is having her first baby. The pending arrival of a little girl called for girly pinks and purples and the vanilla/chocolate yummies went down a treat :)

I love the term patty cakes. Everyone, including me, uses cupcakes but there's something so very Country Women's Association about patty cakes - and I mean that in a good way!
ReplyDeleteI usually use the term cupcakes too but I was reminded of my Grandma when I was baking these. I used to bake with her and we called them patty cakes :)
