I am thinking about reclaimed spaces this week.
I love the idea of converted buildings floating in a cloud of history.
Have a great week everyone, I hope something special comes your way.
Here are a few links that have made me smile today :)

All I want is a library...
The conservator in me says not to store books on the floor - they are more likely to get dusty and it is not recommended for the long term preservation of your books. However, I love this idea...

All I want is a library...
We buy, read and collect a lot of books. We have thousands of them. As a result, we have had a storage problem for quite some time. My dream is to move to a house where we have the space to have a library - all books in one room. This week, I thought I would share some lovely home libraries with you...

Hong Kong: the world is my book
(Images by Ames and Tash)
There is wide range of material on offer for English speakers and the collection is catalogued using the Dewey Decimal Classification system. Octopus cards can be used for copying and there is a lovely little coffee shop on the ground floor. Be advised that photography is not permitted inside the building and that the closed access stack area on level seven is restricted access.
