Thinking about authors who used to compose their text on typewriters rather than the contemporary computer. A day when there was more pressure to get it right the first time. I wonder how much the change in technology has altered the overall style of writing these days? Not to mention a time when everything was written by hand....

Creating the studio...

We are hoping to start arranging the downstairs area of our new house this weekend. This includes the studio which will hopefully be an inspiring place for creativity and time out.

My creative space

I must admit, I have not been very crafty this week. Too many other things happening. However, I did bake some patty cakes earlier in the week for a new friend who is having her first baby. The pending arrival of a little girl called for girly pinks and purples and the vanilla/chocolate yummies went down a treat :)
